Clever Killer-Chapter 1
It begins in New York.
Mac,Stella,Lindsay,Danny,Hawkes and Flack with DT.Angell are working on the biggest case since the 'Cabbie killer' and it just keeps getting stranger and stranger.
At the crime scene, there is two things out of place a broken vase with Red Roses in and the Dead Body with not one drop of blood.
Mac:Who called it in?
Angell:Guy over there said he was walking by heard a loud bang and came up to see what was wrong, the front door was open and our vic was lying on the floor dead. Looks like a Robbery first safe door is open money gone from his pockets, no ID and James Smith over there has never seen her before. Police are questionning him now.
Stella: Amazing how a killer cleans up within 2 hours flees the scene and all they leave is a broken vase for us. I hate clever killers.
Danny: A good way to put it Stell, (Danny begins processing the scene)not much to process, Lindsay what you wanna do? Body or Vase?
Lindsay: Duh..the vase. (Her and Danny chuckle)
Angell: Mac,I seem to remember when i was working with my other boss down in NYPD Set 2, my mate who works in Miami said he had a case where all that was left at a crime scene was a DOA with no blood and a broken glass vase with Red Roses inside, we could be looking at the same killer here, you think?
Mac: Wait a second you could be onto something here Angell, you talking bout' Horatio Cane? right?
Angell: Yea. Why?
Mac: He came to New York on a case with a killer named Darius, where he made his victims lie face down on the ground with their hands behind their backs and he would shoot them, with a blink of an eye. He once shot 6 teenagers.
Stella: I dont know how they do it, oh yea i remember that case Mac.
(Flack walks over to Mac Stella and DT.Angell)
Flack: I think Angell's right, I just found out of a New Jeresey Cop that 3 months ago a killer with the same MO was in Miami and he killed 4 women and then moved onto Las Vegas where again he killed 4 women and now hes here which im guessing he's going to kill 3 more women. This women being the first.
Mac and Stella look at each other thinking that 3 more inocent women were going to be killed.
Mac:Can you get in touch with Grissom and Horatio and come back to the Crime Lab.
Flack: sure Mac ill come when evrythings sorted.
Flack and Angell walk out the apartment heading down the stairs.
Mac:Danny,Lindsay you got everything you need Hawkes get someone to bag this body and send it back to the lab for analisis. Sid's gonna get a hard time out of this one.
Back at the Lab Danny and Lindsay are processing the glass vase and flowers, so far so....
Lindsay:Not good.
Danny:Whats not good?
Lindsay:This, the vase their is aboslutley nothing on it, no fingerprints, marks to say how it broke. I cant believe a killer would be this clever.
Danny:Me neither i got nothing on the flowers and I have gone over them twice. Lets hope Miami and Vegas can help us with this one.
Flack walks in the lab.
Flack:You got the right idea Messer, I need everyone working on this case,that includes Hammerback, Adam and Kendal in Mac's office right now. I think i got some good news.
Danny:Ta Flack, I think some good news right now is just what we need. Montana you go get Adam and Kendal, ill get Hammerback.
Lindsay:Wow not heard Montana since Hawkes called it me a couple of months ago, hmm i wonder why that came out of the blue somehow??
Lindsay walks out heading towards Adam and Kendals work office.
Danny looks at Flack with a gobsmaked look.
Flack:Dont look at me man, shes your women.

Flack: Right Oh my god..i thought you two where like forever??
Danny:Me too, until I went and cheated on her.
Flack Chuckled

Danny:NO,I pushed her away.
Flack:You stupid man, anyway Mac's office everyone will be waiting..lets go.
Flack mumbul's under hias breath:Oh my god...thats just werid man..werid.
In Mac's office
Mac:Ok so we're all here, Flack I think you got some news to tell us?
Flack: Um..yea(Flack was still gobsmaked and staring at Danny)..yea err I got in touch with Miami PD and LV PD Horatio and Grissom are on their way to New York.
Mac:Oh great so less time than i thought..but never mind..um best get to work, so Danny Lindsay what did you two get off the vase and roses?
Danny/Lindsay:Nothing.(They both share a glance and Flack Chuckles under his breath)
Danny: Yea we checked them both twice over with each and every tool exsiting, not even a speck of dirt or dust, like as if it had just been layed there after the murder took place.
Mac:Hawkwes Hammerback?
Hawkes:Well all we can say is, the bullet was a through and through and there was deffinatley no bullet at the scene nor a gun so the killer took them both.
Sid:Yeh..no deffenses wounds didnt look like there was any kind of struggle, but what im wondering is just how this killer could have known the bullet was going to be a through and through, so we wouldnt be able to track him or her down.
Danny:Im thinking its a Him there Sid. Men have more knowledge in guns, no affence Stella...Lindsay but im just thinking a guy who kills a women sounds more reasonable.
Sid: Oh ye and also the bruses around the wound are consistant with close range shot, i would say about 3 feet considering where the bullet entered and exitied...it went straight through the brain stem and out the same way..indicating she was shot from the back and an instant kill our vic wouldnt have felt a thing.
Mac:because its a through and through the killer would have had to take a long time to find a bullet, im thinking the killer didnt take the bullet with him, the bullets still at the scene.
Lindsay:but we checked every possible place Mac the bullet was nowhere.
Mac:well then im thinking you and Danny reconstruction? should give you a possible area of the bullets whereabouts. Now make sure you take your time Hawkes and Sid go back over the body and see if there is anything we can find out to deterimin TOD.Now Flack I want you helping Danny and Lindsay and me and Stella will be going over the paperwork reports from MD and LV PD and Sid and Hawkes when your done just fax it up straight to my office. Adam and Kendal I want you going back over the Vase and Roses, Angell I want you to meet Grissom and Horatio at the JFK airport, now get to work everyone we got a clever killer to catch.
Everybody leaves the room except Stella and Mac who are looking through the paperwork.
Walking towards Reconstruction is Danny Lindsay and Flack.
Flack:Im so.. Glad we got put together.
Lindsay:Excuse me?
Flack:So i can give you two some good counselling.
Danny:What..what kind of counselling Flack?
Flack:Boyfriend,Girlfriend sort..
Lindsay: wo,wo,wo..the things going on between Me and Danny are to do with Me and Danny ONLY. Now if you dont mind we all do have a lot of work to do.
Lindsay speeds up faster towards reconstruction.
Flack:Yep deffiantely a keeper.
Flack then speeds up after her to say sorry.
Danny:A keeper.... only if i had her.
In the reconstruction room Danny Lindsay and Flack take every single gun they could think of with a similar brusing and start reconstructing the bruise marks and the possible angle of trajectory.
Lindsay:Danny you can be our Jane Doe and ill be the killer.(Lindsay whispers to Flack)great way to shoot him.
Flack Laughs softly and Danny puts his arms up as if to say whats so funny?
Danny:Go on then shoot me!
Flack coughs and says under his breath:She wishes.
Lindsay:Ok so if the shooter was standing 3 foot away from our vic then he should be standing right about here. Lindsay edges closer to Danny holding a hand pistol."Ok so if i get this right, then the brusing on the dummy should be very similar if not exctally the same..here goes."
Danny moves out the way and places the dummy sitting down watching 'TV'. Lindsay shoots 1 round and the brusing is not the same but they have an idea of the whereabouts of the bullet.
Up in Adam and Kendals office.
Adam:You got anything Kendal?
Kendal:Nope not so far you?
Adam:No Linds and Danny were right there is absolutley nothing on anyone of these.
Kendal:Dont hold that thought, I think I ust got something on the Red Roses, it looks like a small Red piece of paper I can understand how Danny didnt see this one, I to use a Microscope take a look.
Adam steps over to the microscope and after a couple of minutes trying to whatever Kendal was talking about he finds a small Red piece of crumpled paper added to part of the Rose, he lifts it off and underneath is a white rose.
Adam:Wo, this isnt paper its dryed paint.
Kendal:We better get this over to Mac and fast.
Meanwhile in Mac's office Danny Lindsay and Don are back with good news.
Lindsay:Mac good news and bad news, we didnt find the gun with exactally the same busing marks on our jane doe's neck.
Danny:but got a good idea of where the bullet might be so me and Lindsay are going to go back to the crime scene and have a good look for it, it may give us a lead to the kind of gun that killed our vic.
Mac:Great work.
As he said that Kendal and Adam walked in with some more good news.
Kendal:Mac good news.
Adam:We found a really microscopic, piece of what looked like paper but we ran it through GCMS and its dryed pain Red paint and underneath it is white roses.
Stella:That doesnt make sense at all. White roses underneath Red? whats the point in that?
Mac:The Tudor Rose.
Stella:The what?
Mac:The Tudor Rose a mixture of White and Red Roses made for England during Tudor times. So our killers got a thing about English history.
Stella:Or he's from England and trying to mak a point?
