604: Dead Reckoning

Episode recap: A woman confesses to murdering her husband but the evidence clears her of any wrong doing. The case is sent in a completely different direction and Mac sets out to find who the woman is protecting.

The evidence:
From the field: A carving knife, a roll, and a ring.
From the morgue: Victim's stomach contents. Already digested food. Specifically steak and asparagus with corn.
From the lab: Unknown female DNA.
Turning point in the investigation:
Case to case match linking the unknown female to 21 other cases. Of course not all is as it seems. Although Marcia Carver is guilty of 3 murders and Deborah Carter killed her husband someone else commited the other crimes. Mac figures out that it's the swabs they use that are contaminated. A worker at the White Tip Cotton factory didn't wear gloves when handling the cotton.

Flack freezes up at a critical moment. Lindsay saves him. Danny isn't pushing himself hard enough in therapy. Hawkes calls him out on it. At the end we see Danny stand for the first time since Pay-Up (5x25).....holding Lucy.

NO ADAM!!???
I had a huge knot in my stomach with the scenes with Flack. Seriously worried. The thing i love about CSI is it always has a amazing ending. This one was one of the best. The interaction with Danny and Hawkes was brilliant is love how the are together, great mates. Lindsay had tears in her eyes! So did I! ^_~ |
