5x09 The Box

This episode starts out with Danny telling someone that his life is changing, and that it will never be the same. He is talking about Lindsay and he is saying all these good things about her. He then begins to tell his story. At the crime scene, when Lindsay comes up to Danny to give him some evidence, Danny tells Lindsay that he called her last night. She replies by saying "I went to bed really early." He just says, "uh-huh".

Later on in the episode, Danny and Stella go to the health center to talk to a Dr. Lori Winton. They think she may be able to identify their Jane Doe. As they are talking to the Dr., Danny sees Lindsay come into the health center. When he sees her, he looks very confused, and when she sees him, she freezes, then turn around and walks out. Danny then tries to follow her to find out what is going on. When he gets to the street, she has disappeared. Danny is just overwhelmed by the fact that Lindsay told him she was talking a few hours off to look at a sub-let in Brooklyn. That was Lindsay's first lie to Danny. When back at the lab. he sits his computer, focusing on the elevator, waiting for her to come back. When she finally comes into the lab, he follows her and they have the following conversation.


(Danny and Lindsay are walking down the hall)
Danny- Lindsay,
Lindsay- Danny. Hey, I can't talk right now
(enter the locker room and Lindsay opens up her locker)
Danny- Whats going on?
Lindsay- What do you mean?
Danny- Come on, Lindsay. I saw you today at the health center. Are you sick?
Lindsay- You should get back to work.
Danny- No, no, (holding her by her shoulders) you should talk to me.
Lindsay- I...ah...you..(covers her mouth and runs into the bathroom)
Danny- Whats the matter? You ok, Lindsay? (follows her to the door) What the hell is going on? (banging on the door. Then he hears her puke so he sighs then leans
against a locker and waits for her to come out.) We go back to Danny telling the story and he says "I can't really blame her for not saying anything. See, ahwile ago, I messed up, alright? I was with another woman. I didn't say anything, but, she knew, I think she knew, you know? Anyway, a couple months later we get back together and things haven't really been the same..and now this....
(We go back to Lindsay coming out of the bathroom. When she sees him, she pauses and walks over to her locker to face him)----->

Danny- You ok? You alright?
Lindsay-(nods her head and taking a deep breath) I'm pregnant
Danny- You sure?
Lindsay- (she give him 'a look' and hand over the ultrasound pic. It is quiet as Danny looks at the pic.)

Danny- How long have you known?
Lindsay- A few weeks (it is silent for awhile, then Lindsay breaks it) I should get back to work.
Danny- Whoa, whoa, whoa! (coming out of the locker room) Why didn't you tell anything? Look, you can't just drop this on me, then
me. Please!
Lindsay- Danny, I know you...
Danny- You--what's that supposed to mean?
Lindsay- I just mean, I'm not expecting anything.

Lindsay then sees the picture of the vic, and realizes that she knows the victim from the clinic, when Lindsay had her first appointment. She goes back to her locker to get the number. Danny just tells Lindsay that he needs Flack to contact her parents and walks out of the room.

In the very end, we learn that Danny was telling his story to the parents of the victim. The father tells Danny not to have any regrets, whatever happens with Lindsay and him. Danny then introduces them to Lindsay. The parents wish them luck, and go see their grandson. Lindsay looks at Danny, and watch the baby being greeted by his grandparents. In the very end, the back of their hands touch slightly.

5x10 The Triangle

In the very beginning of this episode, Danny calls Lindsay. He wants to know how she and the baby are doing. Lindsay replies by saying, "Good. She's good". Danny laughs and says,"She?", Lindsay then says "Or he, relax. It's too early to tell."
Danny then says to Lindsay he has something important to talk about. But the phone call gets dropped.

Later on, Lindsay goes outside to get some tea and a donut. Danny catches up with her.


Danny- I thought I saw you running for
the exit.
Lindsay- I'm starving. My OB says to pay attention to my cravings, no
matter how inconvenient they
are.
Danny- Yeah...Let me ask you
something.(they stop walking
and face each other) Do you
have any hereditary disease
in your family?
Lindsay- (giggles) No, do you?
Danny- No, No, mental illness?
Lindsay- No.
Danny- How about addictive
tendencies? Extra fingers? Extra toes?

Lindsay- No. (shakes her head)
Danny-Natural delivery or drugs?
Lindsay- Ah...either.
Danny-Boy or girl?
Lindsay- Healthy
Danny- ....Will you marry me?
Lindsay- (the look on her face is like Seriously?)
Danny- ( he gives her a look like I'm serious)
Lindsay- (puts her hand on his shoulder) No (and walks away.)

Later on, we see Lindsay trying to get trace off a pineapple sticker. To do this, she has to work with all different types of chemicals and she is getting nervous about the baby's development. After she tells Stella what she has found out, she is about to leave when Lindsay stops her. "Stella, aren't you the official safety officer at the lab?" "Yes, that is my proud, unpaid position. Why?" "I have this 'friend' who works over at the forensic lab in NJ, and she's pregnant." "Oh, good for her." "Yeah, except she's worried because of all the processes that we do here, that could really harm the development of a baby, right?" "That's true, but there's also so many safety protocols in place. Goggles, face shields, fume hoods, and not to mention all the training and re-training we have to go through. I'm sure she'll be fine." "It just seems like she's in over her head." "Well, she's not alone, right? I mean, the baby has a father..." "Yeah, yeah, and he's great. I just don't know how ready he was for all of this. It's complicated." "Listen, Lindsay, I'm sure if her coworkers are anything like yours, they'll understand the situation and work with her, even be happy for her. It's going to be ok." "Thanks." "Oh, and tell your friend congratulations."

At the end of the day, after the case is solved. Danny and lindsay are walking down the hallway.


Danny- So, you want to tell me
why you won't marry me?
Lindsay- I didn't mean I won't, I
just think it's the wrong
time.
Danny- Wrong time. Wrong time
or the wrong guy?
Lindsay- Danny (they stop and
face each other) I know I've thrown a lot at you and we are both feeling
really overwhelmed, but whatever we do next, I want it to be for the right reason. Wouldn't you rather walk down the else than be pushed?
Danny- Yeah, yeah, of course.
Lindsay- Good, so listen. (she puts her hands on him) I'm not going anywhere, and I know you aren't going
anywhere either. Ok, but this isn't about you and I anymore so lets just take baby steps, ok?
Danny- Ok...sure..look, before we go inside, (puts his hands on her) I want to tell you one more thing....I just
want you to know....that I love you.
Lindsay- I love you too, Danny.

They then continue walking. Danny then opens a door for Lindsay and they both go inside. It is Mac's office. They tell him that they are pregnant (you can't hear what they say because of the music). Mac is happy for the both of then and hugs them both.

5x11 Forbidden fruit


Danny and Adam are walking in the hallway. Adam tells Danny that the stuff under their vic's nails was elephant dung. Danny first asks if he is sure. When Adam says yes, Danny tells him if he can find a connection between the victim and the elephant dung, he will buy Adam a beer. "No, the beer's on me. You have some big expenses coming up." "Yeah, like what? Diapers? How much can dippers cost?" "Forget diapers, I'm talking the big picture here. The price of raising a kid from birth to 18 is like 150G, not including college." "How do you know that?" "My father used to remind me about it every day. So I would keep all the cash if I were you. (seeing Lindsay approaching) But combining your income may be less painful." "Thank you, Suze Orman." "Hey, Lindsay." says Adam. "Hey, Adam" says Lindsay. Then he walks away. "I thought you were searching Isabel's apartment" says Lindsay. " All clean. I gotta go back to Tony's apartment and hopeful find a primary crime scene th. (looking at Lindsay's bump) How we feeling?" "Good. I think I felt a kick this morning." "Really?" (in an excited voice). Danny takes her hand and brings her to a quiet part of the hallway. He puts his hand on her belly, and she puts her hand on top of his. "It stopped." "Next time it happens, you find me." They just look down at her stomach and smile.

Lindsay then goes to show Mac one of her reconstructions. She tells Mac to put a berry in his mouth and swish it around. He replies by saying, "Lindsay, I'm your boss, not a guinea pig." "Come on Mac, I'm pregnant, humor me." And then he does it!

5x12 Help

Not much happens in this episode with the baby or Lindsay. There is a couple though. More DL and not really the baby.

When Lindsay was at a conference, Danny was sitting next to her. The are going over two cases trying to find out if they are connected. They think they might be because both vics were raped by the same person. One was raped 8 years ago, the other recent. Lindsay is then telling the team about coincidences-for example, Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin died on the same day, 50 years after signing the Declaration of Independence. As she is saying them, Danny has the most sweetest look in his eyes when he looks at her and her stomach. After the team meeting, she continues with another fact, in 1975, a man in the Bahamas was killed in a car accident with a taxi. One year later, the man's brother died the same way-with the same taxi and the same taxi driver.

When Danny is talking to Sid about what a freak thing it is because he is sure that the cases must be connected. Sid them says stranger things have happened-such as Mark Twain being born on the same day that Halley's Comet appeared, and him dying 75 years later, on the same day of Halley Comet's next appearance. Danny replies by saying,"Sid, you been hanging out with Lindsay?" "Huh? What?" "Never mind." CUTE!

5x14 She's Not There

There is only really one baby moment in this episode.

Lindsay and Sid are telling Mac about a possible suspect that is in China Town and how it's the Chinese New Year.
Lindsay pats her stomach and says "Year of the ox".

5x15 The Party's Over

In the beginning of the episode, the city cannot afford to pay the cops, so many of them are calling in "sick" (going on strike). There are not many cops working. Danny gets a call saying that he would not be getting paid. He decides to go home and claim he is "sick".

There are two really nice baby moments in this episode. The first one is when Lindsay is talking to Hawkes.

They are in the lab doing work when Hawkes gets a phone call from the DA's office.

DANNY AND LINDSAY!!!!


According to CSI Files sources, the seventeenth episode of CSI: New York's fifth season will be called "Green Piece". Adam Ross is on a street in Brooklyn, a white van parked nearby. A group of people are playing street hockey. Suddenly, the white van explodes, rocking the street and destroying a nearby house. Adam is close enough to lose his senses temporarily. As he stumbles, a friend rushes toward him, trying to figure out if he's alright. Adam is still stunned, but he regains the ability to hear. People are screaming, and sirens blare in the distance. Much closer, Adam hears someone yelling for help. The voice is coming from inside the house. Adam doesn't stop to think. He rushes toward the burning building and finds the man trapped inside, pulling him to safety. Mac and Hawkes arrive quickly. They were at a courthouse in Brooklyn when the explosion occurred. Mac goes to Adam as Hawkes jumps into the back of the ambulance with the man Adam rescued. Adam starts to tell Mac it was stupid to rush into the house, but Mac cuts him off. What he did showed courage. Adam thanks Mac as an EMT comes to look at a wound on his head.
In the Ambulance, Hawlks speaks to the man as the EMTs do their job. His name is Felix Redman, and it was his house that got destroyed.

He Doesn't know anything about the white van and says it wasn't in front of the house when he got home. Felix tells Hawkes that his wife was out of town and his daughter was not home. He says he's lucky that the house is all he lost. The scene is soon swarming with people: police, the fire department, the FBI, Homeland Security--they can't take any chances. This might be a terrorist attack, and people are already panicking. An FBI agent meets up with Flack as news crews gather at the crime scene. The agent says the FBI is working with the NYPD on this one--Flack is skeptical, but he's more than willing to cooperate. This situation needs to be dealt with quickly. While processing the scene, the CSIs discover that the bomb claimed a victim. A young woman's body is found in the rubble of the house. Sid determines that the bomb killed her, but Felix is adamant that nobody else was with him when the van exploded. Stella takes him to the morgue to look at the body, and Felix is shocked when Sid pulls back the sheet. Tears well up in his eyes when he recognizes the victim: it's his daughter, Allison.



The team works to peice together what caused the explosion and who might be behind it. Meanwhile, Lindsay prepares for some much needed time off as she gets

farther along in her pregnancy. Danny surprises her with a trip to the clerk's office to take care of some personal business--all she has to do is say, "Yes". She kisses him and asks if he has the money order for the ceremony. They kiss a few times and enter the place to find Stella and Mac waiting. Stella gives Lindsay flowers and everyone hugs. Lindsay asks Stella, "what if i'd said no?" to which stella replies"not a chance." then there is a flashback of their relationship thru the years as they say their vows.

5x19 "Communication Breakdown"

IT'S A GIRL! throughout the whole eppy danny is throwing around various boy names. Hawkes remarks that his parents didnt name him for weeks after he was born Danny teases him about his name Sheldon. When Danny throws around somenames near Stella she says
"You know Danny, you might want to start thinking that you and lindsay might have a girl."
he says that erryone in his family had boys so it will be a boy. Stella replies with a muttered greek phrase.
Later, everyone is in the break room playing the name game. Linds texts Danny saying it's a girl!

"That's right," says CSI: NY executive producer Peter Lenkov. "We lose a member of our family [in the season finale] -- and that's just in the first 10 minutes."

The other 50 minutes of the hour will probably be pretty killer, too. Leading up to it is episode 5.22, titled "Yarzheit," which features not only Lou Grant... er, Ed Asner but also comic legend Shelley Berman. In this one, "Our CSIs find themselves investigating a crime that takes them into the world of racism and bigotry, only to uncover a deep, dark secret that dates back to the Holocaust," teases Lenkov. "Also in this episode, Mac will learn something about his father he never knew.

"And in the season finale" -- which also has Craig T. Nelson winding up his arc -- "the CSI: NY team is on the trail of a team of sophisticated kidnappers-turned-cop killers," he continues. "Their crime will forever change the CSI: NY lineup."

TIM: We have it on good authority that she will go into labor on or around May 6 — but it may be but the start of a protracted push. We're not saying the CBS procedural would do this, but some first-time moms' deliveries last well until their season finales. CSI: NY's airs May 20.

I heard a rumor that CSI: NY's Adam saves a life in an upcoming episode. Is this true? — Rebecca

TIM: "Adam doesn't save a life, but he does rescue someone who is very much alive," says executive producer Pam Veasey, who also told the Buzz what's up with Lindsay and Danny. Lindsay will take time off to go back to Montana and "share her pregnancy with her family." But when the baby's born, she and Danny find that balancing work and a newborn isn't easy. Oh, and Veasey refers to them as "the Messer family," the second huge hint producers have dropped.
