  • She's from England.
  • Frequently wears a ponytail.
  • Will not be coming back to the show.
  • She's close to her family in England.

Dr. Peyton Driscoll (Claire Forlani) previously worked with Dr. Sheldon Hawkes (Hill Harper) as a medical examiner before leaving to teach at a university. While working with Dr. Hawkes, she also worked with Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) . Although there was chemistry between Dr. Peyton Driscoll and Detective Mac Taylor, they didn’t pursue a romantic relationship until after she left the crime lab. Dr. Peyton Driscoll now returns to the crime lab and faces the complications of maintaining professional and personal relationships. In season four she decides to stay in England as it's her home and breaks up with Mac. In season 6, she's in New York for a convention, and is happy to see Mac again. He's recovering from injury and she's meeting with a colleague in the building across from Mac's. She apologizes to him for leaving with only a note, and the ep ends with them sort of cuddling and almost kissing. However, she isn't seen again.
