In 1981 Robert Joy made his feature film debut in Atlantic City, where he played a small-time hood what steals cache of drugs and used a former criminal as an errand boy, Robert starred in Milos Forman's Ragtime as well. He's also been in many other movie and television appearances included: Nash Bridges, Moonlighting, Amityville 3-D, Big Shots, Millennium and Waterworld to name a few.

When he's not acting:

When he's not in front of a camera, Robert can be found composing music for films or plays. In 1986, he composed music for an independent film called The Adventure of Faustus Bidgood. He worked on the film while studying at the Sundance Film Institute.
