That Feeling.
This is a Mr & Mrs Messer story. I love saying that haha :)

Bored, Bored, Bored!
Is what Lindsay Messer was thinking as she sat at home, eagerly awaiting the return of her husband of one month. He had been called in whilst she was still sleeping that morning and still hadn't had a call from him, which was extremely unusual for Danny. And since she was 8 months pregnant and not allowed to work, the stress that something could have happened to him was not good. She looked at the television, some TV program that had been on when she switched it on, nothing worth watching. I'll have a nap she thought. So she grabbed a blanket and slowly drifted off into slumber.
Her eyes opened a crack as she took in her surroundings incase Danny had come home, he had a tendency of leaving her to sleep. "you need your sleep honey, we have a little one on the way and that's one thing we'll both be lacking!" was his reason. She loved that he worried, but hated the protective bubble she seemed to be enclosed in. She sat up and folded the blanket just as she did that her cell phone rang. She checked the caller ID. Danny she thought.
"Danny?"
"yeah it's me babe. Sorry about not calling, we were swamped. But I'm off the clock now and I'm about 10 minutes from the door"
"That's good, i was getting worried. Your fine though right?"
"yep, I'm fine. No-ones stopping me coming home to my sexy wife and my unborn child" He could practically hear her grin.
"Okay, well see you in 10. Love you"
"Love you babe"
The line went dead and she got up to put the kettle on. She was still smiling after their phone call, he did that to her, left her smiling for hours then do it all again. She loved it. After about 5 minutes of daydreaming to herself she heard his keys in the door then his faithful "Honey I'm home!", this made her giggle. She felt his warm arms wrap as far round her as her swollen abdomen would allow. He kissed her just below her ear, followed by a soft moan that escaped from her lips.
"how are we doing today" he asked, gently caressing her stomach.
"everything is fine, a few bladder shots here and there, but then again i've got a kid with Messer genes, what can i expect" she grinned at his reaction which was a slight nudge and short episode of tickling. As they collapsed on the sofa, she lay her head on his chest. He stroked her hair, loving the feeling that she was his. They lay there just talking about their days, both hating the feeling of being separated.
Danny looked down at Lindsay, he had noticed that her breathing was shallow, she'd fallen asleep. He smiled. He loved carrying her to bed and then wrapping his arms around her.
She stirred, but knew what he was doing, lifting her to bed. She allowed herself to be placed in the bed and waited for his comforting, protective arms to willingly wrap around her. When he did she relaxed into his arms, she felt his thumb perform soothing circles on her stomach.They both fell asleep soundly in each others arms.
She loved that feeling.
He loved that feeling.
Belonging to each other.
Love.

It's quite a good story but needs a bit more dama. Like if the baby was born really early and it was such a complicated birth Lindsay might not make it. Just a thought :D
